From suffolk
to gaza with love

A special weekend of art, music and community that brought together over 70 Suffolk-based artists and writers in solidarity with Gaza, an inspiring gathering that raised an incredible amount (over £25k) for Medical Aid for Palestinians. Thank you to everyone who was involved in making this happen.

WHY WE'RE FUNDRAISING

Rebecca Guyver I Postcards for Gaza I 2025

This exhibition was born from a deep sense of helplessness and a desire to respond. The suffering in Gaza has reached unimaginable levels, with families facing hunger, displacement and devastation. With aid into Gaza severely restricted, it’s more urgent than ever to support organisations like Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP). They work closely with trusted local partners and maintain pre-positioned supplies, allowing them to respond quickly when access is possible.Every donation helps provide food, medical care and just as importantly, a measure of dignity to those who need it most.

This exhibition brings together the work of over 70 artists and writers from across Suffolk, a rich mix of painters, ceramicists, illustrators, printmakers, poets and storytellers. What unites them is a shared desire to contribute something meaningful in response to the devastating situation in Gaza. Each postcard-sized work is a unique expression of care, creativity and presence, small in scale, but full of intention.Alongside the postcards, several artists have also donated larger original pieces that will be sold separately to raise additional funds. All proceeds from the exhibition will go to Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP).
